Description and Scope

This project provides for the rehabilitation or renewal of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for City-owned facilities. 

It addresses a backlog of original HVAC equipment which were installed from 1968 to 1984. This project excludes HVAC equipment for fire stations and parks & recreation facilities, which are included in separate projects. 

It includes rehabilitation and replacement of existing systems at the Fire Training Center as well as for libraries.

Purpose and Need

Since many of the buildings were constructed in the 1970s, many of the HVAC systems in City buildings are old, in poor repair, and require major component replacements
