    Description and Scope

    The project will provide additional funding to address various maintenance issues at the Sports Center. 

    Projects include maintenance and replacement of various building systems, equipment, materials and fixtures.

    Purpose and Need

    The Virginia Beach Sports Center is an elite sports and entertainment venue. 

    It is entering its fifth season and is nearing the end of warranty coverage for many of the systems and equipment. The CIP funding is to maintain the building’s infrastructure needs to remain competitive in the market.
